You can never miss out on a stroll along the river “De Waal” when in Nijmegen. There are always nice views to be seen over the water and the clouds that are floating by. You can go for a walk, or have a bite or a drink on de “Waalkade”.

Last day of summer makes you reflect on the past summer. Of course during Covid times it was harder to go out on the street, but there were a lot of enjoyable days walking the streets of Amsterdam and seeing people enjoy summer, a man eating an ice cream, a woman squinting her eyes while enjoying the rays of sun on her face, a couple having that much needed talk outside while staring over the water.

At the Circus Zanzara

Playground
Exploring negative space at the playground. End of summer start of autumn is one of my favorite times to go out and take pictures. Shadows are long, warm light bounces of the buildings at the end of the day you can find excellent light and dark contrasts during that time.
Getting it right
Visiting Zaanse Schans by boat with our family and friends. Chinese tourists come in busloads just to take the perfect shot. It turns out that our blond friends are a special attraction, more interesting then the windmills that they came to see.
