Street portraits Amsterdam
Various portraits of people passing me by on the streets of Amsterdam. A young man staring into the distance at Nieuwmarkt, a man on a bicycle smiling at his friend near Bijlmer Arena, an elderly woman in the Jordaan crossing the street with her rollator and oxygen tank, two tourists leaving a coffeeshop at Nieuwmarkt.

At the Circus Zanzara
Elk jaar in december zet Circus Zanzara zijn tent op in het Westerpark. Zanzara betekent “Mug”; het is een klein circus met een super leuke show voor kinderen en hun (groot-)ouders. De show loopt meestal tot ergens in januari.

De winkelier – Viswinkel Staatsliedenbuurt
In mijn buurt is er een winkel waarop op het raam staat “Viswinkel”. Dat betekent “Vishandel”. Je kunt er aanstekers, bestek, tassen, tajines, alles wat je maar kunt bedenken, kopen, behalve vis, zo lijkt het, in deze winkel. Playground
Exploring negative space at the playground. End of summer start of autumn is one of my favorite times to go out and take pictures. Shadows are long, warm light bounces of the buildings at the end of the day you can find excellent light and dark contrasts during that time.

Getting it right
Visiting Zaanse Schans by boat with our family and friends. Chinese tourists come in busloads just to take the perfect shot. It turns out that our blond friends are a special attraction, more interesting then the windmills that they came to see.
